Oh my... so much FAIL from the gunman it's blinding. It's a sad day for families and friends of the guys who died, but they died for the cause. Kinda impossible that gun regulations won't get more stringent from this event. |

Regardless, how many reporters do you hear backing the citizen's right to protect himself/herself from people like this with a firearm? |

I'm all against gun ownership, but that has emphatically nothing AT ALL to do with this story. Guy was a spacebar, and this is really sad what happened here. I don't care if he was a gun lobbyist, pro-Obama, member of the NRA... These are all superfluous details. Sometimes I hate the media. Talk about twisting an event/story. |

This thread deserves to be about the police officers and not this mental case. One of my cousins is a City of Pittsburgh officer, another works for the Port Authority and my brother is an officer just outside the city and I'm fortunate enough none of them were injured. I'm grateful they're there to do a job most of us can't or are unwilling to do. Remember what they put on the line everyday the next time you pissed about a ticket (that you probably deserved anyway). |

well thanks to the liberal media this will be alllll over the news even tho if he wanted a gun and it was illegal he could still get one, just no law abieding citizens would have nothing to defend themselves with. also if u think guns should be illegal plz email me at peopleeatingtastyanimalsPETA@yahoo.com so i can explain to u y they shouldnt. thankyou. |

Actually, Bat_Girl! He shot five Cops.
Three were killed and two were injured. He began shooting after his Mother called the police to come and take his guns. |

Certainly are a lot of gunman emerging from the woodwork nowadays. Likely connected the current economic state, just the push needed to send some people over the edge.I just hope none of our elected officials decide to take advantage of these tragedies... |

One, where is the information that the shooter is anti-Obama?Two, why does it matter? Three, where does it say that three officers were shot? All I heard were that two were lying in the street, one possibly dead. Four, I would just like to reiterate that sometimes, people really suck. That is all. |
