Thursday, March 26, 2009 12:30:22 AM Dude, I never said you brought up Hitler, I just took contention with what you said about most IABers being like Hitler.Yes dammit, if I disagree with it enough then I will attack it, it's a forum and if it's my viewpoint that another person is wrong then I have every right to have my say. I have absolutely no idea about Hitler's religious ideology, besides the obvious anti-Semitism. As far as I can tell, he was raised a Catholic but his adult years are a mystery. I'm not about to argue either side because I don't know myself. I'll happily take whatever shots I like at Christianity and all religions because they're all equally ridiculous. Likening people like me to Hitler because of it was your fallacy, and that's why I'm giving you poo about it. |

Wednesday, March 25, 2009 11:47:36 PM so, we do realize that this was some dying guy outing his wife in a murder, and not a pseudo-intellectual rant about German Dictators and religion, right?yet I guess those "informed" individuals(have seen a couple Nazi specials on the History Channel) need a forum to speak their mind. |

Wednesday, March 25, 2009 8:10:35 AM I agee with evolution, I don't think it's evil... but thanks for the congratulations... I was pointing out that "Catholic = hitler = evil" is stupid, by giving you the EXACT SAME argument with evolution. "evolution = hitler = evil" Yet for some reason, I'm going to go with an IQ in the single digits, you cannot seem to grasp that arguments, when wrong, badly put together, illogical, and fallacious, remain so even when they prop up a point you agree with. Stop using the bad arguments, and I'll stop pointing them out to you. |

Wednesday, March 25, 2009 7:28:20 AM congrats, I have to stand up or evolution again. Thanks!Hitler was not evil because of evolution any more than the Crusades were good because the (then modern) church said it was a holy act. Drop the "evolution = hitler = evil" rule of transitivity crap. |

Wednesday, March 25, 2009 7:20:02 AM KMeTG. You have a problem with me bringing up Hitler?Well you have a point, it is a fallacy, I guess I'm guilty of Godwin's law becau... Oh no, wait, I didn't. I was merely responding to someone who did, now go bitch at them. Why me? Because you're a hypocrite. You don't give a poo about any of my argument, or how bad or good it was, what matters to you is the conclusion. If it disagrees with you, you'll attack it. So what value does anything you'll ever say in your life have to anyone? Go tell the person who agrees with you, that he made the classic fallacy. Give him poo for it. When you've done that, I'll have the tiniest portion of respect for you. (P.S. Stop bringing up Hitler, it's a fallacy). |

Wednesday, March 25, 2009 5:52:56 AM "To be honest, Hitlers genocide could be blamed more on his belief in Evolution than on his belief in Christ. Not that many on this site will ever accept that while it stops them taking a cheap shot at Christianity. Also, you're forgetting: If Hitler was an Atheist, he still would have needed to pretend to be Christian to garner support in 1920s Germany. In private he called Christianity a "Disease" that was "to be eradicated". Hmmm... seems like Hitler has more in common with a lot of IABers than the average Christian." Yes, Hitler's BELIEF in evolution. His misrepresented idea that a master race could be bred selectively. You're not just tarring science with the Nazi brush, you're also throwing in religion and the past 15,000 years of humans breeding and domesticating other animals for our own purposes. Argument ad Hitlerum, classic fallacy. |

Last time I was there, I seem to remember seeing plenty of Australian troopsIf you'd bothered to actually READ the posts, I think that's exactly what they were saying - Aust was one of the original Coalition of the Willing, and is still there. As far as I know, no-one's ever denied that, just said that its to our national shame that its the case. |

Tuesday, March 24, 2009 4:49:23 PM Man, that is so weird. No Christians that I know of have ever done anything wrong; how could these people, who had dedicated their lives to the Lord, have done something so horrible?Oh, wait, right. Hitler. Forgot about him. |
