Saturday, April 04, 2009 5:49:45 AM I am sure once the FAA gets wind of this, that will be put to an end. |

Wednesday, March 18, 2009 9:48:33 AM I just want to point out that he is NOT doing the safety briefing, but rather, a pre departure briefing. How do I know? The main cabin door is still open. SWA is known for having a good time and being quirky, but they still can't bypass FAA regulations. I guarantee once all the passengers are on and settled down, they do a real, normal briefing. Again, how do I know? It's kind of my job. |

Monday, March 16, 2009 10:49:23 PM Personally I would rather not have federally mandated safety requirements "rapped" to me. Cue the snakes. |

Monday, March 16, 2009 10:39:32 PM Yea, I would rather have my safety instructions screamed at me by the guy from Skid Row, all high pitched and loud. Or Axle Rose or something, "DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE? YOU'RE ON AN AIRPLANE BABY, YOU GOTTA LISTEN UP SO YOU DON'T DIIIIIE!". |

Monday, March 16, 2009 9:34:17 PM > Minicow > Do you hate puppies, kittens and rainbows, too?OK, Davy made my point a lot better than I did - its safety instructions, you don't mess around with them. You make them clear and unambiguous so that people don't die. |

Monday, March 16, 2009 9:29:31 PM I hate to get all sensible, but it's a safety briefing, not a f*cking audition. Let's paint a picture... imagine this guy was giving the safety brief on the Hudson River landing. The passengers would be like "Now how did this go... If this motherfunker starts to go down, you best grab your... No, hold on. It was: If we start to experience TURB-u-lence, you best grab your... No, that's not right either. F*ckberries, we appear to be dead. Hate to be a sourpuss, but Airlines spend millions on this stuff for a reason... |
