I am waiting for disc based formats to dissolve and everything move to all flash memory based. Imagine being able to store your entire movie collection in a little box the size of a pack of smokes. Or better yet to purchase the movie on a mini sd card and then only have to copy it over to your player which would contain a 5TB solid state hard drive. Yeah the future is going to rock big time. |

I remember going to the video rental store and they had a BetaMax section. Damn look at the picture of those kids in the Polaroid ad, looks like Dad just yelled at them and slapped the ice cream cones out of their hands before taking the pic. |

I agree @ nedonemo. I remember my first words I learned to read were "stop" "rewind" "play" and "fastfoward"I still have a VCR, along with my very first playstation. It's the first version, doesn't even have certain hookups the second PS did. It's extremely fun to play the classic tomb raiders on that thing... |

I had a NeoGeo...
I also had an MD (MiniDisc)....Actually MD's were pretty popular in Japan until iPods and other MP3 players came out. They were sort of the inbetween for CDs and MP3 players... |

hehe I have a laser disc player, nothing beats LP sized discs that you have to flip over half way through! My friend owns a vintage store and gave it to me for a birthday present. I remember always wanting one when I was younger, back when they were rich ppl toys, lol. |

*sigh* NeoGeo...I always wanted a home version of Samurai Shodown 2. Now I'm afraid it will never happen. ( T_T)I hope they come out with a collection of all SS games soon, like for PS2 or something. |

my mom still uses a pager but she works in a hospital and has to walk alot sooooooooo i think it's an exception. lol my aunt says Betamax instead of movie! (she's filipina) |
