I got my first(and only so far)tattoo on my lower back and its a pretty nice size tat. The tattoo artist thought I was crazy to get my first tattoo of that size on one of the worst places to get one. I dont see why he thought that. I guess after 2 epidurals in your back you can withstand a tattoo no problem. It really does get numb after the first few minutes and it hurts a little when they start the coloring until it goes numb again. I LOVE MY TAT! <------(profile pic) |

it really depends on the person. i can handle piercings with no problem at all, but almost passed out when i got tattooed. i also know people who act as if they've been stabbed after getting pierced, but don't flinch with tattoos. people love to ask if it hurt, then call you a liar when you tell them no. >_< |

Pfft. Tattoos wouldn't be worth it if it wasn't for the pain. The pain dulls after a few minutes after they start. Tattoos are sexy on chicks, but not neck tattoos.... |

I also disagree. I think that everyone has a different level of tolerance to pain so it differs from person to person. I have a tattoo on my neck and it didn't hurt me and my boss got one in the same place and she couldn't handle it so yeah.. |

Getting tattooed feels like getting scratched by a cat over and over again for me. Hurts like hell. Some people have no problem with it, even when getting the outline. |
