Find any river near you where the land around is fairly flat and the tide goes inland 4 or 5 km, one with huge mud-flats 100m or more wide, where the closer you get to the water at low tide, the deeper your feet plunge into the mud and the harder it is to pull them out. Near the water at low tide, you'll have quicksand.
