to put this in perspective, its like some of the previous posters have said, instead of downloading the video, you tell your computer the instructions to make the video itself. the plus side is that it reduces overall size of the file immensely, the "catch" is the "effort" needed for the computer to make the video by itself. |

@awesomo: "it wouldnt b 180kb if they made it 3d. fail."You have no idea what you're talking about. It's procedurally generated and renders out through your video card. Rendering it again from a second camera to make it 3D would not increase the size of the file at all. |

1) this app is amazing. For those that don't understand, it's a program that is ~180k (which is about the size of a single, large, high quality single image). You install it on your PC, and you run it, and without downloading anything else (i.e. with only the information in that 180k) it plays the above video, meaning it procedurally generates all the textures, animation, music, models, and camera moves. Brilliant.2) Posting the actual video is the epitome of "missing the point". It's like taking a screenshot of a webpage and sending it to everybody instead of sending the link.

Its not the video thats 180kb its the app that made it. This is why none of your stuff gets posted... you get the descriptions wrong and they're all bs. And whats left over is still wrong. |
