"Monkey" is a well known racial slur for someone of African descent. A picture of a monkey getting shot shortly after the stimulus bill takes place is printed in the NY Post. You don't have to be a genius to connect them all together. |

No you see what you are conditioned to see first. If you spend all your time looking for racism that is what you will see, if you spend your time listen to Al S. you will likely assume his take on it is correct. Many many others looked at it read the text and took it to refer to a group of monkey pounding on typewriters, congress.

Look at the TEXT. "Someone else to WRITE the stimulus bill." Obama did not write it so it is OBVIOUS that the cartoonist was talking about congress. |

It isn't friggin' racist at all. The current story in the USA now besides the stimulus bill, is a crazy chimp that has been in tv commercials who went crazy and ripped a womans face off putting her in critical condition. The cops had to shoot and kill the monkey. The race card is too overplayed... |
