JimboH, no this isn't gameplay. It's just a teaser.

"The new kratos model wouldn't have even run on a PS2 it's so massive in detail."

It's not very detailed- if you want detailed you look at Crysis gameplay.

The PS3 is slow. Faster than an xbox or Wii mind you, but still slow. It doesn't compare against PC games. But in comparison to a PS2 it's incredible. The PS3 has a 3.2ghz single core processor, whereas the PS2 has one running at 0.3 ghz. Saying that the Kratos model wouldn't work on a PS2 because it is so complex is like saying that a toaster was so big it wouldn't fit in a thimble. Though it is true, it still isn't that surprising.

He could really use a tan. I also like how everyone bleeds like a fruit gusher.

a good storyline with awesome game play makes this title my favorite action series.

Ya know, few things deserve to be advertised for free (read: viral), but this is one of them.

(Unless, of course, this isn't actual gameplay, as advertised. Then, I'm just irritated.)

technically any cinematics they show for the game are actual gameplay.

it's supposed to have the exact same graphics and character models whether it's in-game or cinematic, 20 feet away or 2000.
That's one of the selling point of it.
The new kratos model wouldn't have even run on a PS2 it's so massive in detail.

Meh. Not too impressed. Graphics were a little sub par.

T.T so pretty ... but I have no PS3 and hell I can barely afford food right now. Curse you lack of job and lack of time to get a job/18 credits and rehearsal!

This isn't gameplay, this is a cinematic. The cinematics parts of FF7 on PS1 looked amazing too, but the characters were still pixelated polygons in 'gameplay.'

Whether the actual gameplay will be fun or repetitive, we've yet to see.

Phydeaux, the moving earth was Gaia, from Greek Mythology and from the other God of War games.

Not actual gameplay, but still amazing. What was with the world falling apart, tho? I guess he broke a chain or something...?

But those Lion fist thingies look positively AMAZING.

*rolls eyes*

The amount of video game nerdiness on this site is borderline obsessive.
