"The new kratos model wouldn't have even run on a PS2 it's so massive in detail."It's not very detailed- if you want detailed you look at Crysis gameplay. The PS3 is slow. Faster than an xbox or Wii mind you, but still slow. It doesn't compare against PC games. But in comparison to a PS2 it's incredible. The PS3 has a 3.2ghz single core processor, whereas the PS2 has one running at 0.3 ghz. Saying that the Kratos model wouldn't work on a PS2 because it is so complex is like saying that a toaster was so big it wouldn't fit in a thimble. Though it is true, it still isn't that surprising. |

technically any cinematics they show for the game are actual gameplay.it's supposed to have the exact same graphics and character models whether it's in-game or cinematic, 20 feet away or 2000.
That's one of the selling point of it.

This isn't gameplay, this is a cinematic. The cinematics parts of FF7 on PS1 looked amazing too, but the characters were still pixelated polygons in 'gameplay.'Whether the actual gameplay will be fun or repetitive, we've yet to see. |
