I'm really not quite sure, just how I feel. I liked most of the changes, but the end really seemed to drag out. :(

Too many differences. My head asploded.

I was thinking there were going to be itty bitty differences. And they were rather large.

"widescreen huh. It's about time."

Maybe now they can scrape together another 400+ episodes.

"and the couch thing needs to change for every episode! or else it's garbage"

Even though main has changed the "Running to the couch" scene will always be different.

Usually with such changes, I wonder, why mess with something that's perfectly fine to begin with. Especially if that certain something's iconic to pop culture history. But, in this case, they did a pretty good job. All hail the Simpsons!

I like it! I thought the register read out may have been a phone number but, all I get is a busy signal;(243)264-8652.

the till reads 243.26 and after maggie 486.52 (which is twice as much).

I agree with Hansbo, but I did say it prior..oh well.

also, the maggie sequence used to be longer, she used to get scanned and thrown in with all the other groceries, but apparently sackers used to go so fast 15-20 years ago that bags would frequently get confused, thats the sigh of relief from Marge when Maggie pops out of the bag, but of course they cut that.

The true simpson's fan could name not only the difference in this opening, but the differences in the original and the shortened version that many are used to (when first going through the O you start with bart not zoomed out view of Springfield).

I don't know... this didn't even make me crack a grin. I liked the old one better when the animation looked hand drawn.

So... it's the same thing with better animation and more characters.
I like Simpsons just as much as the next guy, but this show needs to be... yknow, funny agian.
