Friday, February 13, 2009 3:20:52 PM Hey I fully agree. I know it's easy enough to wrap 'em up (in fact just use the adhesive on the back and roll it?) I mostly took issue with the tone of the girl who wrote this note and some of the people here. It's just a shame that people are taught to be ashamed of their periods, I don't even know who does it but someone does! |

Friday, February 13, 2009 12:53:23 PM Mrtatulus, True, putting pads in the bin is not broadcasting your period, but not wrapping them up is hardly sanitary. You try sitting down for a nice pee to be greeted with a can full of bloody (and stinky) pads next to you. It's not that hard to wrap it with toilet paper. Just a thought. Same for tampon applicators. It's not a matter of being ashamed of having a period. Just simple sanitation. |

Friday, February 13, 2009 7:03:38 AM Yeah... "quackor", because I clearly stated that I enjoy "watching turds" in my previous comment. You're from South America so you probably don't like knowing that a woman has left the kitchen or the bedroom, much less when she's on her period. There, I can make stupid assumptions, too!I cannot for the life of me understand why so many people are afraid of women on their periods. Every woman gets them! If you're afraid of women menstruating, I highly suggest you never get into a long-term relationship. |

Friday, February 13, 2009 1:09:48 AM I think it would be a waste of my time to think of a comment on this that is worthwhile. |

Thursday, February 12, 2009 2:09:37 PM This girl obviously has issues from the time of puberty... either she got her first period much earlier or later than her friends/cohorts, or her father/mother was disgusted or ashamed about it. Note: Putting a used pad in the garbage can is far from "broadcasting" your period. Get over yourself, you are living with other girls who will inevitably get their periods and there is nothing you can do about it so just deal with it! When you're living on your own you can hide in your room for 5 days a month and triple-bag all your used "feminine hygeine products" so absolutely NO ONE can know you're on the dreaded period! |

Thursday, February 12, 2009 8:33:52 AM wow that is gross.but i can honestly say i've never experienced this. we have thoose little sanny bins where you open the lid and pop your junk in, never see anything. maybe they should fork out some cash and buy some of those instead of using stupid wicker basket, what do they expect? |
