Thursday, January 15, 2009 9:02:55 AM That show that was playing on the tv--I love that show! Isn't it that one bargain hunter one where the people go buy antiques and then they sell them at auctions to see how much they get off of it? |

Wednesday, January 14, 2009 11:15:00 PM reminds me of at my sister's house. they have a big screen and we were watching the football game. the kids were playing upstairs and jumped from the bed to the floor shaking the house slightly and the TV downstairs goes black. my brother-in-law, a lazy slob, says, "it does that all the time, you just have to smack the back" and precedes to kick the poo out of the back of the TV...he's the kind of person who his 360 got the red circles and instead of finding out how to fix it, threw it away and bought a PS3...mind you, the 360 was <6 months old brand new from store, so there had to be some kind of warranty on it... |

Wednesday, January 14, 2009 10:08:57 PM As a repair technicians let me explain what's happening here. First off that is an LCD not a Plasma. there are some very fine wires that are connected to the screen me sometimes break those leaving deadlines. By banging on it he's causing these broken wires to temporarily touch each other thus completing the circuit and make it work. Unfortunately this is not truly fixing it once the TV is jostled in any way you will lose lines once again. |
