this is how I know I'm a nerd. When it said "gamma ray burst visible with naked eye" the first thing that came to my mind was "how can we see gamma rays" instead of the more common "that must mean it's pretty bright!"

Jupiter doesn't appear as orange, more of a purplish violet wit some blacks and other colors. Barely any red, either.

those pics where pretty cool. I remember number 1. My bf had a mate over and we were outside having a smoke and they were chatting and i looked up and im like... i dont remember 2 bright stars like that before - thats cool. My bf shrugged me off and kept chatting, but ran to me the next day telling me about what it really was
