Friday, January 02, 2009 2:01:31 PM Jumbo Cookie = DUMB.Marriage and name change are two separate processes. And changing your name isn't the easiest thing to do either. In most states you have to go to the courts, fill out the paperwork, pay for the court costs, have the judge sign off on it, take it to be published in the paper, then return it to the court record keeper all within a certain period of time, with deadlines to each step, and if you miss a step the process has to be started from the beginning. And that doesn't even cover all the work that you have to do once it's legalized. You have to notify EVERYONE from the Social Security Admin to The DMV. I changed my name last February and I still have a crap load of people to inform. |

Friday, January 02, 2009 11:35:04 AM Also, they both have half of their mother's genes and half of their father's genes which makes them both half Caucasian and half African American even though one looks full white and the other full black. It is science people. I just think it is amazing how this happened twice. The chances of having two sets of twins in a row (I'm assuming no fertility drugs) 1 out of 3000 births. Mindboggling |

Friday, January 02, 2009 11:26:44 AM Friday, January 02, 2009 7:19:11 AM I don't think this is a coincidence, perhaps it's something to do with the parent's genes... Seems extremely unlikely to say the least that this would happen by chance. Happening by chance would have explained the first time....I mean, there is a first time for everything.
Science and biology has a LOT to do with it happening twice which now makes the first time not so coincidental. |

Friday, January 02, 2009 11:24:07 AM Friday, January 02, 2009 1:17:14 AM So... Umm... Why don't the parents share a last name? Are they an unmarried couple with two sets of reality bending children?I have an instructor that kept her maiden name and she is married. It happens. |

Friday, January 02, 2009 7:04:19 AM Crucible, your an idiot.. JumboCookie, you are too! je_scream, said it right!!!!! Unfortunately,"light/dark skin" doesn't get people to watch the news, and the commercials that pay for the programming, or protect them from some idiot who'd scream "Racism" because the "correct" terminology wasn't used..... They have a beautiful family whether they are married or not!!! Best of luck to them!
