I'm impressed that they actually knew to include the Pippin - most people don't realize that one ever existed.They missed a few prototypes, but i guess that's normal... Though I think they should have at least included some of the NeXT equipment/OS's... The current state and reach of Apple is due largely to the NeXT technology like the Cube (where the original Mac Cube came from) and the NeXTStep OS - OS X's predecessor. Side note - anyone ever set a NeXTCube on fire? Solid magnesium burns ever so magnificently.... |

when I see stuff like this, I think what computers will be like in 30 more years.If we went from computers the size of small TVs, to laptops that can fit inside a backpack in such a short amount of time, then what will happen in the next couple of years? My opinion? We have wrist computer hologram things. That would be hot... |

It seems you've got to get some medication in you, because only an ADHD-riddled gnat would be unable to pay attention long enough to read those articles, and they provide some interesting information... ...of course, that information goes contrary to your dogma, doesn't it? 1: If Microsoft pulled that kind of advertising falsehood, you wouldn't be saying "big whoop". I'd put money on that. 2: Ditto for this one; you'd be screaming bloody murder if any other company but precious Apple appeared to have tried to manipulate performance results. 3: Something shiny obviously distracted you if you couldn't read through these three short pages. And here I was sitting in front of my pc thinking it was microsoft that was responsible for most of the components inside. They had seven core business groups at one point in history... ( now they only have 3 Product divisions left ) that may be where it gets confusing. |

Seriously necros... all those links you posted point to stupid debate that dont really disturb me. They lied about their 3G Iphone loading the interweb half a second faster then real life. Big whoop. I dont really care about the second link because it was in 2003 ( Why dont you dig up crap from the time Steve Jobs and Bill Gates worked togheter while you're at it. ) And the third link is about how talented the people who made the article are with a program they run on a mac and a pc... "Apple = Quality"jesus! that made me lol, once youve worked with macs as long as i have you'l realize how generic 3rd party ram isnt "quality" some people just cant see deeper than the UI. Learn about computers, hardware, using them for more than photoshop and you'l soon realize, silver spraypaint is no alternative to well built hardware, no matter what OS you run.
