Bloody hell! Metallica are an amazing band, hence why they are a classic.
Just because this is a bit different from their usual stuff, doesn't mean it's crap. The fact that they have changed abit and still kept their distinctive 'Metallica' sound, (to a certain extent) just shows how brill they are.
I bet you any money if it was the same as their usual stuff, they would get dissed for being samey and like a stuck record...I think they can't win tbh because people always have something to moan about these days... |

This album is Metallica's best in almost twenty years. Its not the old Metallica, but it still kicks ass, and I'm glad they were able to recover from St.Anger, the video was iffy the first time I watched it, but the second time is easier to understand and it's a pretty good idea overall. |

new album was mediocre at best in my opinion. I was really hoping for something like Kill em all, like they promised. But I suppose it's as best as it's gonna get. Time to turn to Slayer for my thrash metal needs... |

i love this song (and the album)
not too sure about the video.. its not very "metallica-esque" nearer the end.. kinda reminds me of a supernatural version of the video for one.
...also, tinky, lars ulrich is easily one of the best drummers out there. he can definatly "keep up" |

i love the new Metallica album. It is incredible. to go from St.Anger to Death Magnetic was a really huge improvement. At first i was really unsure of how it was going to be, but when i first heard The Day That Never Comes, i was impressed. Then i heard All Nightmare Long, and instantly decided to buy the album. It has not dissapointed me one bit. |

I just dislike new metallica. It lacks something. Same passion or something old songs were delivered with. The guitar doesn't sound... hmmm hard to pick a word... "chunky". Maybe i've just got used to heavier songs these days. Awe well i can still listen to their old stuff. |

sounds like metallica is going for Rush 2112 era on speed.its good but is it just me or do they need a drummer who can keep up? not nearly as good as the new ac/dc but still better than
