idk. i have no idea why they did this. thats something i've never understood, whether people who do things like this are crazy, as in completely disfunctionally insane, or if there was some sort of history or reason behind this. but, is it possible to be otherwise completely sane, and still do this? i mean, what are the odds of getting four genuine sociopaths or whatever together in a group and deciding to do this? |

"because starvation is not a crime, it's not like a bunch of white people went to africa and took all of the food and locked them up and said "DIE!", pretty drating different"ah or is it? roughly one less b42 bomber and america could have fed the world for 5 years. every time a soccer mom in america goes for that big ole $40,000 suv instead of a $20,000 car is she spending 20,000 unnessicary dollars on something she doesn't need, instead of giving it to starving children much like her own? is doing nothing about a tragity the same as standing by and watching it happen? |

just because the news supports obama and disses bush doesn't mean it doesn't control us. it depends on what your definition of 'control' is. news is biased. the end. period. it follows popular opinion, because it is run by people who have studied and understand how the public in general is going to re-act and view something. people as a group, citizens in general, are very predictable, and have acted in certain patterns since this country was created. and people will listen to what news tell them, and what others around them tell them. its impossible to be completely self-educated and unaffected by biased information unless one was there to actually see something happen or see someone with his/her own eyes. |

i dont rlly think four lets refer to them as scum bags would do all of this with out some reason, im not defending them im jus sayin it doesnt seem like a normal person would put someone through all that who wasnt mentally ill or had a very bad anger managment problem. |

I can totally see why this kind of thing wasn't covered. Right now, the nation is focused on a black man's ascension to the most influential office in America. Some are celebrating it, but others are shunning it and secretly plotting assassination attempts on Obama. The racist population which still plagues the USA is still capable of creating enough influence to tear down the progress we made, and coverage of this story would certainly provide the anti-black cause with far too many resources for propaganda, and it would no doubt inspire the most violent racists to perform hate crimes against Barack Obama himself. The US is experiencing a great movement towards racial equality, which has its opponents, and topics like these are like nitroglycerin. It's in great danger of exploding, and the last thing you want to do is touch it. |

Is whoever yabberring on about this whingeing about how black people killing white people don't receive media coverage, or how down syndrome is less important than rape/murders or...?
Seriously who cares? Why would Al Sharpton comment on something like this? If the media didn't report it how would he know anyway? There are thousands of rapes everywhere the entire time, why is this one particularly special? |
