This story did make me cringe, and that's exactly why American Broadcasting Stations didn't want to report it.People don't want to watch gruesome things like this. If CNN or ABC covered this story, they would lose viewers who have a weak constitution- which is bad for business and reputation. |

wow that is truly disturbing and sad. He's mad at the media, why not just mad at the crime. Why point out that it's blacks and whites involves?
Lately,in europe,there has been alot of media coverage involving kidnapped and incest cases. Alot of media coverage. While someone can point out that there's more going on,thoses cases are still very sad things. And if a journalist points out some things else, he doesn't rant about other journalist,he rants about the crime. That's journalist,to serve and deliver what your focus group wants to hear. It can be heart breaking,but it's true.

I can hardly believe that an uncommonly brutal story like this has not been widely reported. Whether it was racially motivated or not, the facts of the case are so extraordinarily heinous that it should be headline news. To compound the grief of the families involved by deeming it not important enough to report is unforgiveable.

Baalthazaq: It may be true that 41 people are killed in the US everyday by homicide. But that averages out to less than one per state per day. And this murder was so heinous so absolutely horrid (I mean honestly they ripped this guys balls off and shoved them up his ass) that not covering it was journalistic suppression. |

zazuch: I have to disagree on the point you tried to make about missing black kids. There was an "Amber alert" just a few days ago over two black kids kidnapped by their father and it made all the local news channels, and I live out in the country. |

....I rarely comment on these hot political stories or religious stories...Uh...Hmmm...I'm confused over why it was chosen not to be covered. Yes it's gruesome, but I don't think race had anything to do with it. Why would it. They report black on white violence all the time. I'm not familiar with this radio personality, but he sounds like someone who strolls the boards of StormFront. I hate the way he talks about race. |

But that it did not receive national media attention outside the local news, well so what? if they reported every single murder, or even something disgusting like this, that's all we would ever hear about. american culture has taken this whole racism thing to far.
