Conservation of momentum.It takes more energy to bring 4 cars to 100mph.
Therefor it expells more energy when coming to a stop.
Therefor there is a greater force in the collision. I'm skeptical at the way the bracket holding the case flew off. It might have been a different story if a huge block of concrete was behind supporting it. |

That was somewhat unnecessary. It was done more so the public could see nuclear waste was handled with care and extreme protection. There are *many* less expensive tests you could run on such a container. |
