Thursday, December 11, 2008 6:18:22 AM Until they test it against a full-frontal Rosie O'Donnell assault, I reserve judgment on its indestructibility. |

Friday, December 05, 2008 7:34:12 AM the test was a failure, the train is clearly not indestructable. |

Friday, December 05, 2008 5:50:18 AM Conservation of momentum. It takes more energy to bring 4 cars to 100mph. Therefor it expells more energy when coming to a stop. Therefor there is a greater force in the collision. I'm skeptical at the way the bracket holding the case flew off. It might have been a different story if a huge block of concrete was behind supporting it. |

Friday, December 05, 2008 5:24:17 AM "Buying the fully-operating train for the test: 50 000$Fixing all the things after the test: 65 000$" Wow what world do you live in where things are that cheap? o.O |

Friday, December 05, 2008 4:51:02 AM "I hope the drivers okay!"Do you really think they would put someone in a train going at that speeds with the desired target it had? But i agree, will it blend?

Friday, December 05, 2008 4:30:43 AM I hope the drivers okay! That was a nice waste of time, they clearly just wanted to crash a train into something and finally found their excuse |

Thursday, December 04, 2008 11:18:29 PM So it can withstand a 240 tonne train, but the real test is: will it blend? |

Thursday, December 04, 2008 9:42:52 PM Oh, and Lion, for that to work, the one car would have to be moving at supersonic speeds to have as much momentum as that train at 100mph. |

Thursday, December 04, 2008 9:40:05 PM That was somewhat unnecessary. It was done more so the public could see nuclear waste was handled with care and extreme protection. There are *many* less expensive tests you could run on such a container. |

Thursday, December 04, 2008 9:30:14 PM It wasn't the nuclear container that destroyed the Train. It was Chuck Norris, standing in front of it while taking a smoke break. |

Thursday, December 04, 2008 9:18:49 PM Exactly. 5 cars moving at 100mph has a hell of a lot more force than ONE car moving at 100mph. |

Thursday, December 04, 2008 7:13:41 PM but lion, it's speed isnt directly proportional to the amount of cars there are. |
