I think that was Czech or Ukranian.

The only thing we got is probably the tv-shopping thing, what with the internet and all... =/

I want a chicken roaster.

I'm assuming French, by the word "Paris" at the end.

I want that kitchen.

Some of those things looked like they actually worked, even though they don't. I'm sitting here thinking, why are they showing this stuff in50 yrs if u already figured it out?

The infra-red oven is using what amounts to an effecient heat lamp, and you can buy them at the local department store. E.g., Black & Decker has a couple models they like to hawk as being faster/easier than a traditional oven.

"Cokery-book?" Is this a drug lab of the future??

It's always funny to watch past forecasts of modern times which never come close to predicting the Internet.

Although I imagine we'll be ridiculed for our future forecast specials in 2059 for being unimaginative and dull as well.

Irony is a bítch, ain't it.

Induction stoves are already in use and some can boil hot tap water in under 30 seconds.

And I love the infrared oven! Despite the fact they had infrared ovens in ancient times, and ZOMG! we still use them today!

a lot of this has to do with the different role of women in the fifties i think. priorities kind of changed.
