The infra-red oven is using what amounts to an effecient heat lamp, and you can buy them at the local department store. E.g., Black & Decker has a couple models they like to hawk as being faster/easier than a traditional oven.

"Cokery-book?" Is this a drug lab of the future??It's always funny to watch past forecasts of modern times which never come close to predicting the Internet. Induction stoves are already in use and some can boil hot tap water in under 30 seconds.And I love the infrared oven! Despite the fact they had infrared ovens in ancient times, and ZOMG! we still use them today! |
