And we sit back and wonder why there is poverty in America...I seriously wonder if rap "music" showing all these guys with grills, rims, and chains worth a lot of money influences those with an interest to go out and spend their entire paycheck on fancy luxury items instead of taking the proper steps to save. I know that all that "bling" for most rappers is just a drop in the bucket but for the average person they are far too out of reach, but because the average person wants to be "cool" and have all the things their favorite musician has, they decide to waste their money instead of taking care of themselves and their family. I know this might sound racist, but I think the excuse of "the white man pushing the black man into poverty" is LONG gone...black people put themselves in poverty because they choose to buy things THEY CAN'T AFFORD just to look cool... Just my little rant...blast me as you feel neccessary...I don't care |
