"Hey Zero have you ever used any of the "digital equipment [that has"> replaced talent," ill place a very large (safe) bet that you have never even seen any equipment that goes into anything that has to do with rap, I know a few up-and-coming rappers and as a (well i consider myself) smart individual have no idea where to start when it come to using any of that, sure it uses 90% synthesized sounds but compiling those into a likable beat is mind-boggling... And to now whore myself out... Check out D-RaNGd"Sorry my friend, any one that can double click and has a copy of some software like Cubase can download a few free VST plugins and end up with some decent stuff if you have the musical know-how, it's not that hard really. Anyway, the new stuff we have to help us in being creative doesn't replace talent, it just makes it easier to express it. If you have no "talent", no amount of computer assistance will help. |

Is that really them singing? If so, they are pretty good. I don't like all the crotch grabbing, but they do have talent. As mentioned by D-Roc, managed by the right agent, they could be big. I am all for the younger generation finding their talent and expanding it to it's fullest, but stay in school and get an education also. Our "talents" may fade but an education will keep us alive forever. |

ya, maybe it's just me, but when I see a car go down the street that is older and normaly low to the ground, but has giant rims & wheels on it, I think it looks funny... |

Kriss Kross at the best. Seriously, it's awful. And it's hardly replaced art. Listen to some talented rappers. Hip Hop and Rap are very different animals and not all of it is about "pouring liquor like cum" on women. It's just what's popular, but then again, how many truly talented people were recognized in their day? not all that many. |

Zero while i agree with some things you say, isnt art expressing what you like in your own way? This is how people in that video express what THEY think is art, and to call them stupid and ignorant cuz thats how they feel is a little closed minded dont you think? And the rap culture has FAR from REPLACED art. Or killed it in that matter. |
