Hey gatorade grow old enough to pay some taxes then complain about it. Anybody who says that if they had some c-4 and lots of spare time that they would NOT do this, is a liar.
It's cool, it's fun. Its as safe as any other day in Iraq and they have nothing else to do. |

Got nothing against blowing off steam and relieving boredom whilst on ops, but seriously, this is just unprofessional and idiotic. if these were Australian soldiers, they'd be charged. No doubt. Misappropriation of government property, unsafe handling of munitions, unauthorised discharge of munitions, unsoldierly conduct, conduct in prejudice to the good order of military discipline, breach of general orders (at least 3 counts that I can think of)...the list goes on, and on. |

primetimekin: The reason you might not have seen swedish soldiers may very well be one of the following.1. We rarely invade other countries.
2. Our troops consist mostly of peacekeeping forces.
3. Swedish soldiers are rarely seen on youtube acting stupid.
4. I suspect you have in fact Not been to Iraq, Afghanistan or Kosovo etc. |

Damn, people. Sure they're combat troops, but they're still humans. They have to have fun somehow. Not to mention C4 is very cheap compared to other things militaries regularly use, and "wasting" it is negligible at worst. And if they had fun, then it wasn't a waste because morale is an important aspect of military operations.How about this: you can blame your military for wasting money as soon as you citizens stop wasting food and oil. |
