Friday, July 31, 2009 6:57:35 AM Yo splurbbuble,Must have fallen on your head a bit too many times, to refer to USA topping the murder charts (and a lot of retarded murders and crimes pretty much being unique to USA) as a "small price" to pay for being a bit harder to round up and executed, "like they did in the Holocaust". I suggest you stop watching so many movies and get a grip of reality before it's too late. Pulling fantasized, completely ridiculous "arguments" out of your ass to "support" your point doesn't really do you much merit. And also, does it feel good to have the youngest criminal in the history of the world? |

Saturday, November 29, 2008 6:58:42 PM Opiebreath; I agree with Reet. Do you guys really think that illegalizing guns right now wouldn't have some horrible backlash also? Starting a country with illegalized guns is very different than changing one to. ----Indeed! It's why I always shake my head to those who speak about gun control. While guns do support crime by making it easier. (let's face it, robbing a quickie mart with a shotgun is a lot easier than with a pocket knife.) but trying to control them will only promote it. I know a lot of people in and around the family have rifles and guns in the event of a thief or assailant. Now; take that away and what happens when the assailent WITH the illegal gun breaks into their homes? they're defenseless. "call the cops"? Can't exactly do that when the assailant is holding a pistol your head. What we need is stricter laws and monitoring on the sale and distribution, not cutting them entirely. |

Saturday, November 29, 2008 6:32:23 PM possibly making stricter gun laws is a BAD idea. in fact, my father and about 70 other people at his work are all purchasing AR15s, in a rush to get them before any law is passed illegalizing them. in fact, watch the news, stuff like that is happening all over the country. and then wait for the idiots to try to take assault rifles away from thousands of angry rednecks. lol |

Saturday, November 29, 2008 3:54:17 PM Right, well, I felt that some things ought to be said since nobody has pointed them out. For one, the constitutional right to bear arms is old. Very old. And was necessary during those colonial times when one had to defend ones own home. These days, perhaps not so much, but I'm not saying not necessary at all. Here's a thought. Say we were to make all guns illegal. That would mean no more selling guns or processing and registering guns. And then say there's a gun crime. How can one trace that gun when there is no means at all to trace it? Making guns illegal wouldn't necessarily make them impossible to get. Pot is illegal in Illinois. I have no trouble finding sellers at my high school, and could be provided with stronger drugs if I so pleased. So making guns illegal wouldn't necessarily get rid of gun violence, just make it more complicated to trace back to who actually committed the crime. Unless they were dead of course. Then I guess it wouldn't be quite so hard. tl;dr LEARN2REA |

Saturday, November 29, 2008 1:34:03 PM "There is the truth and there is your perception. One day, maybe next year, maybe 200 years from now-- some Governments in Europe will decide to make some excuse to round up its citizens and execute them... much like they did in the Holocaust. And they will all die because they cannot defend themselves. This will never be so easy to do here in America and our Governments knows it.So we gotta deal with more gun deaths than you do... GREAT!! Small price to pay I say." Only way I can describe my reaction:
