Sunday, November 23, 2008 3:41:40 AM Another example of power going to an individuals head, that cop should be booted out of the service not in 12 months or 18 months time but straight away its people like him that destroy the hard work that good cops do. As far as I know he has no legal right to prevent a camera man taking footage unless he is obstructing the officer in his duties!? and you have to ask why does he not want footage of his actions taken! |

Sunday, November 23, 2008 2:04:02 AM and randythefool really made a fool of himself for telling bataleon things that he already posted... if you read his text to the bottom and not only the first 2 sentences you'd know that he just copy-replied to another post :) |

Sunday, November 23, 2008 1:52:38 AM Choke hold.... or kinky public sex games? You make the call.Yet another television station that feels the need on making news stories about themselves and then blowing them out of proportion. Batalaleon. You comply if you'd like. But, that camera man was only doing his job and had every right to be there. Man, if we get a handful of people like you on the street... we might as well put our heads in the guillotine right now. I can't believe you'd simply "give up" that quickly because "someone with a badge told you to". Just because they have a badge doesn't necessarily make them right. |

Sunday, November 23, 2008 1:42:24 AM umm am I the only one recognizing that the only thing the cameraman filmed was the cop and his ass get cuffed? never saw a march anywhere except for post-production stuff cut in.. maybe you are not allowed to film another person without their permission? and if he repeatedly tells him to stop filming and he doesn't.. he'll sit in..anyways if however it happened like stated.. fire the cop.. if not.. fire the cameraman for breaking the law and getting arrested at work... |

Sunday, November 23, 2008 1:40:56 AM The problem is that they put these idiots in uniform. They have no clue what the law is and make their own rules. If the cop did what he did in front of the camera and witnesses, imagine what he does off camera. He should be fired. |

Sunday, November 23, 2008 1:09:32 AM BigWaFuu i think anyone, even myself, would follow the officer's instructions if he gives a reason for why they cant a news crew film on public grounds. If a cop tell you to stab yourself, are you going to do it? What if the cop just tells you to take off your clothe and eat sh*t on the street? |

Sunday, November 23, 2008 12:56:47 AM oh that poor drating baby. A Choke hold. I love how the description of this video leads to an entirely different perspective.1. When the cop tells you to put the camera away, you do it. Being a reporter doesnt make you above the law. 2. If you do not comply, guess what, you can be arrested for disobeying an officer. That wasnt even a complete choke hold. It's a position for the officer to effectively put the suspect in cuffs. What is this poo. We're gonna cry that "wah, I wanted to film and he said no so I said screw you Im not gonna stop filming and he arrested me! WAH! I AMS THE VICTIMS!!! WQAAAHGYAUGAHRG" the fact is that he had a right to film the march, it was in public place and it was a news reporter, they would have a license for that sort of thing. It;s not the fact that he arrests him or puts him into achoke hold, it's the fact that he tells him to put the camera away before even stating for what reason or asking for their lisence to film |

Sunday, November 23, 2008 12:13:14 AM @ BigWaFuu, you may think people in authority don't have to respect Constitutional rights--but the rest of us have a problem with injustice. |

Saturday, November 22, 2008 10:56:43 PM gatorade, thats true and all, and Samuel Jackson is made of pure win, but would I feel secure in the thought that he would be able to restrain himself to ensure my constitutional rights are not violated? No.The Police officer does deserve to lose his job for his actions. Purely because he said "I can do whatever I want," because No, Police officers do not have free reign of control, and if he feels that he does, he is not mentally prepared to carry out his duties responsibly. It is much like a Supervisor thinking that they can smack around employees simply because they have some authority over them. |
