So, 2012 we face tsunamis, tornadoes, earthquakes, asteroid collisions and at least 5 different alien invasions all at once.FYI the last one were the earth blew up was from Enterprise, the Xindi did that one. BUT! I am looking forward to the real movie in 2009, etc. etc. |

That would certainly be an intresting movie...But the amout of predictions that concern wipeoute of humanity and/or world destruction and have actually happened: 0%
It isn't really clear what the plot will be about too... |

The Mayans didn't even predict the end to be 2012; In fact the only reason it stops on Dec 2012 is simply because the forces that took out the Mayans (Inquisition and so forth)stopped any further enhancements by the Mayans because... well.. frankly; The Mayans are gone! No one left to continue the calendar predictions and roles past the last recorded date. Besides; They only predict a change in times on 12/21/2012. Like the Modern to nano. |

To be honest, this trailer kinda sucked. Although it was edited quite cleanly, it was plenty obvious where the clips came from. The idea of any 'dooms day prophecies' coming to fruition are on the same level of sanity as Amy Whinehouse playing with baby mice... |

and you missed the entire point of my post anyways, which was that these trailers show WAY too much of the movie before they actually release it. must have something to do with the short attention spans of the movie going public. they need to see everything before it's worth going to the theater... |
