I always kept a rubber band in my pocket so i could shoot those nasty black and orange Mary Janes at other kids. It was like eating peanut butter flavored epoxy. At my neighborhood here's always one house whose decorations are a little TOO real, one house that gives out hot mulled cider (Mmm!), one house that gave loads of semi-generic but still pretty good chocolates, and one house that just gives out random crap. I got a bag of microwaveable popcorn and some Pop-Tarts from one house. Also, candy corn is awesome. |

That list was so accurate, and made me so nostalgic for halloweens as a kid. talk about fond memories. i cant wait to have a kid so i can take them trick or treating and steal some of their candy lol. btw, candy corn is definitely the WORST, with tootsie rolls coming in second. somehow i always got WAY more tootsie rolls in my bag than anything else, and i was always discouraged to see the damn things. i tried giving them to anyone who would take them lol. tiny bags of M&Ms, bottlecaps, and sweetarts were always some of the best and big faves with me. |

nothe best is when some nice lady has a stand of hot chocolate and donuts. thats the best, you can't beat that. we have about three of those stands in our area.

i just remembered when i was 5, i was trick or treating. it was a big group of us little ones with the parents at the bottom of the peoples driveway following us. one lady decides to give us apples, and everyone accpets one, except for me, who screams "NO!!!!!!" and runs away.i wanted candy, not a damn apple |
