Love how people are taking sides here and how emotional they get, look at crackerjack with his fact checking.....dude, you're old enough to know better, this is a choice between Pharma-corp or Exxon. Pure and simple,as far as the rest of the voting populus is easy to control with politics..they want to belong to the identifiable candidate that promotes their values and personality, yet this country is in a mess, and it's going to get worse due to this massive corruption that you all support with your red-neck go get-em, yay my team rules....yours sucks. Thank you fundamentalist christianity for interfering in our government so politicians can blind people with stupid issues like girls kissing and birth control being taught while they rip off our money. Really it ios sad how stupid Americans are...and I am one of you....I hang my head in shame at how you all love being suckered,. right and left.

"The smarter and more progressive majority of America are gonna vote for the man that says only Christians should be allowed to be president and the woman the said that dinosaurs are only 6000 years old?"

Wow, you obviously didnt read the argument preceding that. At all. If you would take the time and see that it was a satire to Pizzabob, you might realize that your comment makes no sense.

"but regurgitating generic sound bites"

THATS ALL BIDEN DID!!! He's a notecard reader

"I challenge ANYONE to explain how this isn't an attempt by Palin to dodge a question whose answer she had no clue of:"

Biden, McCain, and Obama did the exact same thing.
Thats why they're politicians

Whomever "wins" the American people loose for the next 4 years. On the record, 4 years from election day we will have another President in the White House and it will not be any of these four clowns.

I challenge ANYONE to explain how this isn't an attempt by Palin to dodge a question whose answer she had no clue of:
""IFILL: Governor, Do you believe as Vice President Cheney does, that the Executive Branch does not hold complete sway over the office of the vice presidency, that it it is also a member of the Legislative Branch?

PALIN: Well, our founding fathers were very wise there in allowing through the Constitution much flexibility there in the office of the vice president. And we will do what is best for the American people in tapping into that position and ushering in an agenda that is supportive and cooperative with the president's agenda in that position. Yeah, so I do agree with him that we have a lot of flexibility in there, and we'll do what we have to do to administer very appropriately the plans that are needed for this nation. And it is my executive experience that is partly to be attributed to my pick as V.P. with McCain--"

"--not only as a governor, but earlier on as a mayor, as an oil and gas regulator, as a business owner. It is those years of experience on an executive level that will be put to good use in the White House also.""

JOE BIDEN'S 14 LIES TONIGHT

1. TAX VOTE: Biden said McCain voted 'the exact same way' as Obama to increase taxes on Americans earning just $42,000, but McCain DID NOT VOTE THAT WAY.

2. AHMEDINIJAD MEETING: Joe Biden lied when he said that Barack Obama never said that he would sit down unconditionally with Mahmoud Ahmedinijad of Iran. Barack Obama did say specifically, and Joe Biden attacked him for it.

3. OFFSHORE OIL DRILLING: Biden said, 'Drill we must.' But Biden has opposed offshore drilling and even compared offshore drilling to 'raping' the Outer Continental Shelf.

4. TROOP FUNDING: Joe Biden lied when he indicated that John McCain and Barack Obama voted the same way against funding the troops in the field. John McCain opposed a bill that included a timeline, that the President of the United States had already said he would veto regardless of it's passage.

5. OPPOSING CLEAN COAL: Biden says he's always been for clean coal, but he just told a voter that he is against clean coal and any new coal plants in America and has a record of voting against clean coal and coal in the U.S. Senate.

6. ALERNATIVE ENERGY VOTES: According to FactCheck.org, Biden is exaggerating and overstating John McCain's record voting for alternative energy when he says he voted against it 23 times.

7. HEALTH INSURANCE: Biden falsely said McCain will raise taxes on people's health insurance coverage -- they get a tax credit to offset any tax hike. Independent fact checkers have confirmed this attack is false

8. OIL TAXES: Biden falsely said Palin supported a windfall profits tax in Alaska -- she reformed the state tax and revenue system, it's not a windfall profits tax.

9. AFGHANISTAN / GEN. MCKIERNAN COMMENTS: Biden said that top military commander in Iraq said the principles of the surge could not be applied to Afghanistan, but the commander of NATO's International Security Assistance Force Gen. David D. McKiernan said that there were principles of the surge strategy, including working with tribes, that could be applied in Afghanistan.

10. REGULATION: Biden falsely said McCain weakened regulation -- he actually called for more regulation on Fannie and Freddie.

11. IRAQ: When Joe Biden lied when he said that John McCain was 'dead wrong on Iraq', because Joe Biden shared the same vote to authorize the war and differed on the surge strategy where they John McCain has been proven right.

12. TAX INCREASES: Biden said Americans earning less than $250,000 wouldn't see higher taxes, but the Obama-Biden tax plan would raise taxes on individuals making $200,000 or more.

13. BAILOUT: Biden said the economic rescue legislation matches the four principles that Obama laid out, but in reality it doesn't meet two of the four principles that Obama outlined on Sept. 19, which were that it include an emergency economic stimulus package, and that it be part of 'part of a globally coordinated effort with our partners in the G-20.

14. REAGAN TAX RATES: Biden is wrong in saying that under Obama, Americans won't pay any more in taxes then they did under Reagan.

Palin did better than I expected, but considering she wasn't answering the questions, but spitting out canned answers, how could you not expect her to do okay?

For the record, my take on the election is this:

1. Hillary never had a chance
1a. She was made to look a fool by a cheating husband
1b. America is not ready for a female President
2. Obama HAD no chance originally
2a. America wants a black president even less
2b. Especially an uppity learn-ed one whose religion is debatable
3. John McCain was a shoe-in given the competition
3a. But then McCain started opening his mouth
3b. Soldiers make good soldiers, not politicians
4. Obama started playing his blackness down
4a. Obama plays black to blacks, white to whites
4b. Obama will draw a lot of people who NEVER vote to turn out
4c. Without these additional people, the election will be a split
4d. But WITH them, its OBAMA for President
5. OBAMA WILL WIN for the above reasons

Its called karma, balance or Gaia - the theory that whenever something major goes wrong on Earth, the planet somehow heals itself by removing the offending problem

I played Palin Bingo! Wee!!

"And if you still don't support Obama then you are an ignorant danger to peace and freedom."

I would beg to differ. Obama is like most politicians in asking for more power than the Constitution grants him.

The POTUS is the commander in chief of the military, not a law-maker. Leave that to Congress.

Neither of these candidates has talked about changing our foreign policies. It's not "Should we occupy other countries?" it's "Which ones should we occupy." We can no longer afford this empire.

May I remind you that Palin is not being elected President? Why does everyone assume McCain is going to die in office? The joke and pathetic sock puppet is Zerobama who's main experience is just being a communist agitator.

Did anyone else play Palin Bingo?

And thanks, Yellow. I went and heard Dr. Leakey speak today so I had to miss a lot of the debate, and like all of this open forum.

So, frumgf...are you are inferring that NObama is qualified to be President of our United States? Why? Simply because he speaks well?

No experience in private sector
143 days of total senate experience
Wrote no legislation or law
Political experience is slim
Foreign Policy experience non-existent
Only community experience is with organization rife with voter fraud
Undeniable ties to domestic terrorists/crooks
20+ year member of church that spews abject hatred of America; close personal family friend of Rev. Wright who said of 9/11, "we got what we deserved"
Wouldn't meet with our troops on his Iraq visit
Won't wear flag pin
Won't place hand over heart during national anthem
Replaced American flag on his private jet with personal emblem
Wants to openly meet with terrorists who simply want you, me, our families dead
Wants us to become a socialist nation/Taxes run amok
Chants, "change, change", and then selects Biden? Wake up

Palin is a joke. She's a pathetic creature who capable of nothing but regurgitating generic sound bites that have bee spoon-fed to her by the McCain camp and which were rather unrelated to the question. It's pathetic. The fact that this idiotic cretin could be nominated to a major party ticket is an insult to every intelligent American.

Watch this...

McCain on religion.

And then watch this...

Obama on religion.

And if you still don't support Obama then you are an ignorant danger to peace and freedom.
