Friday, September 19, 2008 5:44:47 AM For years now, (until recently), Canada was the number 1 country in the planet as designated by the UN. Kudos to Canada! |

Thursday, September 18, 2008 4:11:12 PM "Canada #1 at something?? Yeah, we're also #1 at keeping our economy and our houses"I dont know what you mean by and our houses But you are no where near the top economically. GDP in the 30ks is not close to the top |

Thursday, September 18, 2008 3:04:32 PM As ignorant it is to want to be high, I guess your country having a pot problem is a hell of a lot better than having an alcohol problem. |

Thursday, September 18, 2008 7:58:55 AM I live in Vancouver...I have smoked in plain view of a cop car on campus at UBC I have smoked many times in residence at UBC There are shops downtown (like the one in the story) that sell anything you need There are bars specifically for smoking weed A man told me once, that his friend went to court for something (traffic infraction) with a big bag of weed he forgot he had on him. A cop there busts him, goes to his superior and says "look at this! we got him!" and the other cop says "are you drating kidding me? just throw it away and let him go" I have smoked in front of a hotel with some of Lifehouse's road crew. They said they would never be able to do that in the States This place rules |

Thursday, September 18, 2008 6:09:57 AM I thought everyone knew this? You can smoke pot almost anywhere, they wont bust you. They only go after people who deal it. In the mall you can buy Mari, pipes and whatever else. Everyone is OK with it. You're allowed to get a permit to grow it in British Columbia.Potheads FTW! |

Wednesday, September 17, 2008 11:37:02 PM Nice reporting, save the biased interviews. I'm sure some asshat had something to say about how terrible pot is. This doesn't surprise me though. Pot is looked at a lot more openly up here in Canada than a lot of the States. It's still illegal mind you, but it may as well not be. The only real thing you can get into trouble for is making and distributing. |
