Say what you want, I'm not insulting you, I am just sharing my personal opinion.

this guy should have been shot while he was over there.

oh sure "it's not sponsored by McCain" But it IS sponsored by the 527 groups (political groups that fund advertisement and are legally separate from a candidate.

Dumb asses, anyone that agrees with this should be shot too. I'm curious how many soldiers they had to comb through to find this one guy willing to do this. And best of all he didn't even tell us his rank or operation. So for all we know he was a drating chef on a boat. Retarded people.

I know I'm late getting in on this but...

About the comment below me, What's so wrong with being ashamed/embarassed by your country if it does something stupid? It doesn't make you unpatriotic or anything... It's like your dad getting drunk at a thankgiving dinner, you still love him, but it's still effing embarasssing.

ericdee "Is anyone better off today than they were in 2002? Think about the economy, oil prices, and how we weren't so deeply involved in this convoluted war."

Yes, I am. By following and applying sound economic principals in my personal and professional life the economy may play a small factor in the way one goes about it but, it will not curb my personal success.

Where Iraq comes into play I don't think we have been forceful enough. Each and every Iraqi citizen should be praying to their god that they are not dead and that they have a chance to pull there crappy lives into the twenty-first century.

Oh ya, I don't particularly care If a bullet comes out of a place of religious warship of out from behind a rock at a coalition soldier the soldier should be allowed to fire back.

For all those who are ashamed of America you have a convoluted global view of our nation. I encourage you to travel more both inside and outside our nation to get a full perspective of your nat

This "war" is about our country being greedy. We basically used Afganistan and Sept. 11th as a stepping stone to get to Iraqi soil, so that we could occupie their resources. And by the by we are NOT by any means better off from 2002...if anything it'll just get worse no matter who's president.

"Are they better off than in 2002?" No, they're dead.

And the war WAS a mistake, those people wouldnt have died without it.

And stop calling it "eye-rack" its IRAQ, "E-RACK"

'Mission Accomplished'.
The mission was to direct fantastic amounts of money from governerment funds to the Military Industrial complex. It's no coincidence that this administration had a nonstop hardon for invading Iraq from the git go, and that is why.
Cheney, recent ex CEO of Halliburton was dying to put his boys and cronies to work. That was the mission. At the point Bush landed on the aircraft carrier with that banner flying, the mission was rock solid accomplished, and for far into the foreseeable future. That's why Bush was smiling.
Haliburton stock has more than tripled since then. All these guys are bedfellows. Check out their CEOs wages on the internet. It will blow your mind. Last I checked David Lasser made $26,000,000.00 in one year. The Lockheed Ceo made 400 million. The redneck christian right guy in N.C. that owns Blackwater private security firm in Iraq is positively swimming in money. They all know one another and the Bush Cabinet and Washington

maybe its because i am german and we have a different view on wars by now, but i just dont get the connection between the words war, freedom and peace....

that all soldiers are pissed when anybody says that iraq war is a mistake is just natural. they risked their lives, lost friends. nobody wants to hear he did that for a stupid mistake. even if its true.

Oh yes giving tax breaks to businesses that outsource is even better. Taxing only a small percentage of very rich peoples income is awesome too, whereas we get taxed on 100% of it. Also, keeping greedy people with all the money HOPING they will give it back down to us poorer folk is just being ignorant. We're in the read world.

You forget that those people getting the tax breaks in Obama's plan are going to be putting that money into the economy right away. Lets just say its 80% who gets those tax breaks, that is 240 million people spending that money and giving it right to businesses.

His tax breaks aren't going to hurt big businesses as much as you think that they're going to have to lay off a whole bunch of people!! Or raise inflation that rapidly.

Also small businesses are going to be protected and not hurt by his economic plan.

Alternative - the way it is now, don't forget that.

People get different reactions depending on where they are, the people that supported saddam (and got benefits) of course hate us, the people that were oppressed support us. My uncle (Jerry Majetich, look him up on google, he is everywhere almost) was burned after his escort was blown up. He only talked about how people respected them and that he wanted to go back if he could. At the military hospital during my basic training in 2004, met a guy who wanted to go back, even though his leg was gone and he was blind in one eye. But of course, your not really going to see that anywhere on the new are you?

I have friends in Iraq and they came home and said the complete opposite. They told me how much they are hated there and how it was a complete mistake. I guess different parts of the country have different beliefs. This guy was probably in the north part of the country. I guess if he was in Baghdad he would think differently.

Who's saying Obama doesn't care about the sacrifices of the troops? Just an emotional brickbat that never needed to get made. Sorry about your leg, dude, but what happened to you over there has no relevance to your authority on world politics. You just got dealt a bad hand.

And Lee Greenwood? Please.
