Tuesday, September 09, 2008 3:02:05 PM 1997 - The domain google.com was registered. That's what Wiki meant. Sorry I was mistaken. The company was made on the 7th, but Google.com was made on the 15th |

Monday, September 08, 2008 12:20:55 PM Oh C0dy, you were refering to them working independently. I see. But it's still not BS - Google and I-A-B are independent, but Google still does Google Adds in I-A-Bs content, for example. <STARES more> |

Monday, September 08, 2008 9:42:54 AM Google should invent something that tells you what's in a picture, so you can work out, for instance, what car is in it.Actually, that would be very bloody hard to do. Ah well, HAPPY BIRTHDAY GOOGLE!! |

Monday, September 08, 2008 4:11:35 AM CHR0N0S yah i think they did.. but YouTube and Google Video are still so separate - people have posted Google vids on YouTube, but it's not like you can search Google Vid for YouTube vids. That said, almost everything typed into Google search which has anything to to with a vid on YouTube will come up with a link to Youtube at the top. |

Monday, September 08, 2008 1:49:00 AM anish, "Quis custodiet ipsos custodes" is the original quote and can be translated as 'Who watches the watchmen' or 'who guards the guardians'. I wasn't aware of the latter, so I assumed the guy in the video just changed some words around to make it into his own. Don't worry, I'm aware of the roman poet and wasn't under the impression that Alan Moore coined the term. |

Monday, September 08, 2008 1:32:40 AM Cheezus.. Imagine what it'll be like in five-ten years time, when Google has brought and assimilated so many big-time players in the industry. If Google Video ever combined with Youtube, that'd be awesome. TBH, i think anything that revolutionizes the way we do things has to be good, if just to keep things moving forwards. |

Monday, September 08, 2008 1:32:16 AM personhead, it's a quote of something Juvenal said 2000 years ago in one his poems. Pretty sure it predates Watchmen unless Alan Moore is a lot older than he is letting on. |

Monday, September 08, 2008 1:02:25 AM Who guards the guardians? Isn't that a ripoff of that quote that states "Who watches the watchmen?"? |

Sunday, September 07, 2008 11:56:09 PM If you spell Chuck Norris wrong on Google it doesn't say, "Did you mean Chuck Norris?" It simply replies, "Run while you still have the chance." |
