^^ I agree.Why do you honestly even bother trying? IT'S THE INTERNET. SOMEONE is going to disagree, okay? So, sometimes it helps if you would stop repeating yourselves when we got the point the first time, okay? Sure, it's great to express your opinions, but try to keep your wits about you. By the way, those people that sent those emails were utter idiots. Do they think cussing someone who doesn't value your opinion at all will really ever change them? Mini-rant over. |

Again, Buddhism and Endless compassion for the win.As for the hate mail... well not everyone can speak English in the context of being able to thoroughly insult someone. which has little to do with their faith, and more to do with the fact that they are quite stupid, and they act like any animal when it feels threatened. it's the verbal equivalent of wimps trying to fight by wildly slapping a professional boxer. |

You little children go ahead and continue throwing argument and counterargument, insult and counter insult all you want. You accomplish nothing, as obviously neither will budge on their beliefs, and has rationalizations to defend their beliefs that the other will think is stupid. You do not benefit society in any way, you do not benefit yourself (besides a possible ego stroking, thinking you are winning, when you are at a draw) and quite frankly, you are annoying everyone.
If you are an evolutionary atheist, be a damn atheist, sit down an shut up, stop name calling the religious folk, you claim to be so much smarter, act like it.
And you religious folk, you also seem to have the idea of superiority to atheists, as you have seen the truth, well that's nice and all, but they don't care to hear it. so leave them be, Some people just don't like the idea of heaven. |

yellowsquare...bite me...get off the internet if ur 2 sensitiveand nobody cares if u follow ur religion (again i'm religious) but one of the chief problems with religion, and the only one ppl get pissed about, is the fact that you try to make OTHERS follow your religion who is deluded enough to believe people think "those religious ppl are so peaceful and help others and let ppl live in peace ...they must be stopped!!!" its when they try 2 pass off religion as science...abuse their women...mindf*ck their children...that's when we have problems |

why is it so bad that religious people believe in their religion? i know some people go overboard with it but still I never preach to anyone or act like an idiot on talk-shows and stuff and like 99.99% of religious people I know don't do that either and yet we all get labeled as "crazy violent religious idiots" it's almost like i just walked into nazi germany carrying a flag with the star of david on it whenever i say im religious. |

You've just made my day a little brighter!My simple statment is that your adamant "shove it down your throat" style of preaching is remarkably similar to some Christian styles of teaching, and I was merely pointing this fact out. My use of 'prejudiced' was perhaps inadequate...I've since looked back and seen that you have studied both Christianity and Islam. Perhaps 'jaded' and 'extreme' were the correct words? And who are you to say that all Christians follow blindly? As much as you'd like to think so, a significant portion of the world's population are not blind followers (some of those people are Christians)...there are reasons behind the so-called madness. Maybe they're insignificant and worthless to *you*...but that doesn't matter since (in the eyes of said believer) *you* don't matter. |
