Sunday, August 24, 2008 11:41:57 AM I'm Asian, and I know most of 'em. My mom and dad were in Cambodia and my mom says she did eat fired crickets and fried spiders. She says that they're delicious. But the one I really didn't expect was the Monkey brains. I knew we ate them but we keep them ALIVE?! That's just freakin' weird. Oh, and @ elHadji, I love chicken hearts. Especially with soy sauce. :D |

Sunday, August 24, 2008 10:30:34 AM ok. ive had the fried bee larvae, the bird's nest soup, and the snake blood, when i visited china during the summer. the bee tastes like chicken. beyond that tthose three "delicacies" arent worth the cost |

Sunday, August 24, 2008 8:58:23 AM "Monkey Brains are not only a weird food but they are also hazardous to your health. There’s a risk of getting spongiform encephalopathy, a disease of the brain, that could be fatal."I believe there is some irony in that. |

Sunday, August 24, 2008 8:53:26 AM "I used to think birds nest soup was made out of twigs and stuff.. Well that would be normal compared to that list! That spider one freaked me out, I am now sitting cross legged on my chair. Oh, how I HATE spiders."Why? Spiders are so cute! And I bet they taste pretty good too. |

Sunday, August 24, 2008 3:08:13 AM I've tried chicken, cow and pig brains but I don't think I'm adding monkey to my collection.Scorpions, spiders, larvae and the likes all taste the same: tasteless with crunchy texture. |

Saturday, August 23, 2008 9:25:32 PM k... im chinese, im grossed out by everything but the bird nest soup. People would be grossed out if you said bird spit was in there... but what if you just put a bowl of that in front of someone and just told them to drink it... they would probably think its good(cuz thats what my dad did to me)also, in china, there are really poor places where you have to poo in holes... and imagine when you have no money, no food, and really bad housing... if you were in that situation fried rat would be like... prime rib or somethin... so give em a break... |
