I'm not writing this on the cupping video comments, because nobody will read it. First of all, that's called acupuncture. They use those suction cups when you have a form of contusion, and the blood has died. Rather than use leeches, they just puncture a few holes, and then use heated cups to create a suction and draw the blood out. So I guess if getting better is nasty, then yeah, it was kinda gross. |

So I'm a big believer in science and the scientific method and western medicine, all of that stuff.But why other ways of healing, ways that aren't proven at all by science, work sometimes? Is that through sheer human belief? |
