I think murder and armed roberery should be safe, legal and rare.

((I thought I would throw in my two cents about abortion))

Basically, I think it should be legal, because if it was illegal, women would do it anyway illegally with coat hangers, knitting needles, etc. and that could also kill the woman as well. I think abortion should be safe, legal, and rare.

The video is no longer available. Darn, I wanted to see it.

A little over a month ago everyone on here was making fun of a church group that was praying for lower gas prices. Gas prices have fallen about 50 cents/gallon since that video aired.

By the way, peanut x is my new hero.

Kinda funny that they would fine you for burning your money...

I mean, it could be the last of your money.

Setting my own money on fire is not a crime. Someone else setting my money on fire is. The law takes the viewpoint of the child being, essentially, property of the mother up to the point where the fetus is considered to be truly alive.
There's a difference between "money" and a child. If you set your own child on fire, would you be punished the same as someone else who set your child on fire? Of Course!

"Actually, it is. I'm pretty sure destruction of US currency is a federal offense, with a punishment of up to a $100 fine and six months in prison."

Sorry, it was late while I was writing that. Substitute any form of private property and the analogy works.

"I'll say one thing that does bother me legally. When a murderer kills a pregnant woman, no matter how pregnant she is, it's always considered a double murder. That makes no sense. Either make it a double murder and abortion illegal, or one murder and abortion legal."

Prayer: How to do absolutely nothing and still convince yourself that you're helping.

Rain won't change the mind of the people at the convention. Prayer won't change the weather. I hate Obama and I hate McCain, but there's no use being immature about it. This scares me, though.

"I doubt non-pregnant women is going to chose to be murdered."

Well, yes. That's why murder is a crime.

I'm pretty sure that mostly stems from the fact that the pregnant woman didn't have a choice in the matter. The whole idea of the pro-choice movement is for the mother to have the right to choose, not to have a choice forced on her.

If you're pro LIFE, wouldn't you think about the fact that rain to cause (and I quote) "swampy intersections" would cause car potentially fatal car accidents? Fatal meaning they cause DEATH? So much for wanting to preserve life.

If you pay for the childs bill then you might not need to. Like if you agree ok, you house him and take care of food, Ill pay for his school and allowance. The financial burden shouldn't be just on one parent but it shouldn't be a situation where one parent doesn't even have to do anything.

Prime, where would one draw the line for when to and when not to pay child support?

Or well, when to be forced to.
