Friday, August 08, 2008 6:29:55 AM I thought that looked pretty cool but,the fact that the tetris one was playable, makes it much much more impressive. |

Friday, August 08, 2008 6:25:39 AM The display is pretty cool. But the fact that it supports Knight Rider is .... ehh ... debatable.I loved the show but am less likely to support it now since Hasselhoff became such a major tool. |

Friday, August 08, 2008 4:16:18 AM @ Pilanus: The tech specs wouldn't work.To avoid the impression I'm talking out of my ass, NES res is 256*(224 or 240). Available palette's 50 colors discounting PPU routines and global bits for color (de-)emphasis. GB has the lowest res at 160*144, so SML or SML2 would be most practical, and lights could be adjusted for brightness to create the shades of grey used on GB. To do that, you'd need to find a skyscraper, wider than it is tall, that has over 20K windows. Even PS + an anim program wouldn't work well, since at an assumed screen res of 1024*768, 1024 / 160 = 6.4 and 768 / 144 = 5.3. Subtract 1 pixel for window space, you'd be looking at windows 1/2 the size of these letters. They'd be smaller than a mosquito c*ck, and the video, unstreamable. If Mario was possible, you'd blackout the country, and the only thing streaming would be bills. Out your ass. G*ddamn I'm such a partysh*tter. |

Friday, August 08, 2008 1:41:10 AM "oooooh! Aaaahhh!"was it that amazing? or am i just not as easily amused as i used to be? O.o Maybe it's one of those things that you have to see live in order to be wowed by it? I dunno. That was good though. Must have taken a long while to sort it all out. |

Friday, August 08, 2008 12:02:09 AM That must take so much coordination and group effort!I couldn't do anything like that even if I dreamed it, all I can do is 16 and 8-bit in paint and draw. |
