Wednesday, August 06, 2008 11:01:41 PM Watchmen is hands down the best book I've ever read. And I've read a lot of books. I'm almost certain this movie will turn out great as long as the director, Zach Snyder, doesn't make any changes to the characters or story. |

Wednesday, August 06, 2008 9:29:16 PM WinstonS I don't know that it really is a "cult" thing. The story is really original and I think everybody likes original plot lines. |

Wednesday, August 06, 2008 9:06:16 PM The heros of Watchmen are supposed to be somewhat corny, it is a more realistic approach on what heros would be, plus a whole lot moreRead it before you see it. I read it in two days, so its not very long |

"Watchmen" is, like someone said above, the best graphic novel ever for most of the critics. From Wiki:"To date, Watchmen remains the only graphic novel to win a Hugo Award, and is also the only graphic novel to appear on Time Magazine's 2005 list of 'the 100 best English-language novels' published since the founding of the magazine in 1923." But it's a "cult" thing, don't know if it will hit the public outside comic-fans circles. For myself, can't wait to watch it.

Wednesday, August 06, 2008 5:44:06 PM Great novel. Also, they actually used the same color pallet as the original art. |

Wednesday, August 06, 2008 5:42:32 PM ^ Most of the heros in the book aren't "super" heroes. They're regular people. |

Wednesday, August 06, 2008 5:27:46 PM I've never heard of it. I watched the trailer and I'm not exactly impressed. It looks like it might be well done, but it looks pretty strange. The ship looks pretty silly too. If I saw something like that flying around I'd laugh, not think it's a superhero.I might have to look into it more, maybe it's better than it looks. |

Wednesday, August 06, 2008 5:07:02 PM This would make a LOT more sense if I had read (seen?) The Watchman. Or heard of it.
