Watchmen is hands down the best book I've ever read. And I've read a lot of books. I'm almost certain this movie will turn out great as long as the director, Zach Snyder, doesn't make any changes to the characters or story. |

WinstonS I don't know that it really is a "cult" thing. The story is really original and I think everybody likes original plot lines. |

The heros of Watchmen are supposed to be somewhat corny, it is a more realistic approach on what heros would be, plus a whole lot moreRead it before you see it. I read it in two days, so its not very long |

"Watchmen" is, like someone said above, the best graphic novel ever for most of the critics. From Wiki:"To date, Watchmen remains the only graphic novel to win a Hugo Award, and is also the only graphic novel to appear on Time Magazine's 2005 list of 'the 100 best English-language novels' published since the founding of the magazine in 1923." But it's a "cult" thing, don't know if it will hit the public outside comic-fans circles. For myself, can't wait to watch it.

I've never heard of it. I watched the trailer and I'm not exactly impressed. It looks like it might be well done, but it looks pretty strange. The ship looks pretty silly too. If I saw something like that flying around I'd laugh, not think it's a superhero.I might have to look into it more, maybe it's better than it looks. |

it's a pretty great graphic novel. i picked it up at barnes and noble the other day and really like it a lot. the amount of hype for this movie is out of control. |

yeah, i've never heard of it either until i saw the trailer. *supposedly* it was pretty big. and it is getting a lot of hype. |
