Tuesday, July 29, 2008 5:55:38 PM What was the point? Did they think the world was going to go,"Oh my gosh! Naked People! Let's shut down all the factories and stop driving cars or there may be more naked people!" |

Tuesday, July 29, 2008 2:37:31 PM Oddly enough I was reading about this protest just yesterday...And yes I'm sure that lying naked on a glacier is going to convince people that you're serious about your beliefs and you're not mentally insane.

Tuesday, July 29, 2008 2:07:13 PM i'm all for going green for global warming, but i doubt this'll do anything to stop it maybe they should do something productive lik switch their lightbulbs to fluorescent ones or taking quicker showers and recycling how is standing around naked helping the environment? |

Tuesday, July 29, 2008 9:01:20 AM I think this is beautiful. No, it definitely won't be remembered as a very effective protest, but if they did take to the streets with their posters and signs and nakedness, you all wouldn't be able to stop you're whining and hatred, so I don't understand why you all are complaining about their protesting and saying they should die when they're all the way in the glaciers. I mean, why does it make you so angry that they're nude in nature, away from the public view? It was more of a photography project anyway. |

Tuesday, July 29, 2008 6:51:53 AM ^^I was using that as an aprox number, it still wasn't a lot of snow. As a matter of fact, from late Dec to mid Jan this year, It was just rain. When we actually did get snow, it melted away or turned to ice by mid day. Compared to 1996 when in Early Jan we got nearly 10 inches. If that happened today, we'd get flooding. |

Tuesday, July 29, 2008 6:43:53 AM If there's no global warming, then why has new england had only 2-3 snow falls these past 4 winters and even then, they were mild. The rest was poring rain and temperatures even reached 50 degrees one day in January! 10 years ago there were at least 20 decent falls of snow, although the ground still melted a few days after each one. Even then, back in the 50's and 60's in the same areas, there was cold winters with lots of snow and the snow didn't melt till April. I'm not an environmental activist, but believing global warming is a "Cycle" or a myth is bull. There's never been rain and 50 degree weather in these parts of the world ever and it doesn't take a meteorologist or a scientist to realize that's abnormal and caused by too much polution. |
