I used to watch this when I was a kid because my grandmother would watch it. it came out a few years before I was born and ended in 1992, so I still remember it. And I watch it from time to time still. It's sad that she died, but she was 84. She had a good run. RIP |

Honestly I don't think that guy was being sincere. But anyways, I am sad to learn of her death, however she was in very poor health for years. Now her suffering is over and we should be grateful. PS: I'm a big fan of Golden Girls. I have the first three seasons on DVD and am slowly adding to my collection every chance I get. I've seen every episode like 100 times and it never gets old. :) |

For all you people saying "who the hell was she?" and "old people die" and stuff like that, just remember one day when you're older, snotty dumbass kids will be be saying "Britney Spears died? who the hell was she again?" Or Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani...you get my point. And it will make you realize how stupid you are for saying it now. |

I didnt know if he was real or poking fun. I love the golden girls.. but she also had a decent acting career. She wasnt "discovered" until she was older, and also had some great roles as the mother is torch song trilogy (which was written esp for her) and she was Cher's mother in Mask. now she is a golden angel. :) |
