Tuesday, July 22, 2008 8:26:12 PM maceizballin - Mostly because Creators today do not know cr°p about pacing, good writting, less is more, etc.The last Good Horror movie was made in 1979, you may have herd of it, "Alien". Forget the sequals, they where not made by Ridley Scott, and Giger had a lot less to do with them. Just the music, incredible. Every frame of Alien is sheer artwork. Beautiful, beautiful horror. |

Tuesday, July 22, 2008 5:08:22 PM The "latest" horror movies I liked were the ring and shutter. Other than that I don't like those kinds of movies, only way other movies scared me is sudden spike in sound and throw some poo at the camera. but that lasts like 1sec then I get bored. oh, and the story is usually so predictable I know after the first 25min everything of interest that will happen thanks to the "super awesome deluxe discrete clues" i seriously think the movie makers make the movies for retarded first graders with adhd |

Tuesday, July 22, 2008 2:51:42 PM This is based off of Clive Barker's short story "The Midnight Meat Train."The screenplay was not written by him, but by Jeff Buhler. (IMDB) Clive Barker has created some of the most fantastic horror characters that haven't always translated well into film; e.g. Hellraiser and Candyman. |

Tuesday, July 22, 2008 2:44:32 PM I mean, with a film like that poised to thrust into the quivering ring of global cinema, you have to expect some new slang to erect itself. |

Tuesday, July 22, 2008 2:15:10 PM Link: A Taste of Clive Barker's Midnight Meat Train [Rate Link] - No, that's not a sexual euphemism, that's the title of Barker's upcoming horror flick. FIXED. |
