This raft is similar to the Wego Kite Tube, which was designed to fly, and they recalled it because several people died from landing on their necks like the guy in the video. And one can't just let go because once one loses control of the tube one is at the mercy of the tube gods. And landing on the water would be much more fun than landing on the raft. |

It's not so much that people are stupid for riding things like that. You just have to know when to let go. He would have had a nice little free-fall but wouldn't have bounced on his head.

Not bad but he's lucky if he didn't break his neck. I didn't see him come up out of the water so they might've gone back and figured out he was on his way to the bottom. |
