It was so frustrating to watch that. So many people always jump to the conclusion that people are racist. The word racist isn't even used correctly. It means to find one race superior over another. The word he should truly have used was bigot, not racist. If I were him, I would have been extremely ashamed for my lack of knowledge, not yelling about racial inequality to a reporter. There is an African-American presidental candidate, an African-American secretary of defense, and there are so many other important leaders in this country of that race I could not name them all. They have their own TV channel, too. Can you imagine the controvery over White Entertainment Televsion, or National Advancement for White People. Also, it's caucasian. If we can't say black, why can everyone say white? Okay, sorry bout that,done. |

Whats really gross is that a lot of black folks... (not the intelligent ones) are standing up a praising this complete fool for standing his ground.This black person in particular is dumber than a box of nails and sadly is the epitome of every stereotype about black people. The only thing he did that day was make racist people more racist. Grats! |

He must also be stupid, for this reason:If an inaccurate and wholly pointless description mindlessly used to identify a group of people who aren't really *a* group at all happens to be the same as a far older description of aomething bad based on the fact that sight is the dominant sense in humans, there are two intelligent things to do: (i) consider the intended meaning and the context of each comment and (ii) advocate that the mindless, pointless and inaccurate description be changed. Taking it as a badge of identity is just stupid. |

Alternatively, the man complaining really means it. In that case, anti-"black" racism must be extremely rare in the USA, so rare that he must desperately hunt for anything that could be interpreted as an example of it by someone who is very desperate to find some and doesn't mind making an idiot of themself.There are a couple of ashtrays on the wall outside my workplace. Particularly desperate addicts often break into them to steal any remnants of tobacco that other addicts have discarded. This man must be as desperate to find anti-"black" racism as they are to find tobacco. |

They are morons, anyone who turns innocent phrases into a race issue is a moron. I hate people like that. Black sheep/ black hole/ anything like that.. they are just terms, so what if the word black is used? It's not like they're saying "You are an african american sheep!" or with the n word.. black is a color not just a skin tone. |

I am impressed with the person who made the comment about a black hole not bowing down to the bullying.Yes, bullying. Wrongly accusing someone and then trying to force them to apologise is bullying just as much as punching them and then making them apologise for hurting your knuckles - it's done to humiliate them, the main purpose of bullying. A black hole is an excellent metaphor in this context. He was referring to money disappearing into something without any apparent effect, just as everything disappears into a black hole without any apparent effect. |
