Also, Christians--or at least Catholics who are actually listening to the clergy--do believe that we're sinners but they also believe that God is sorta fine with that so long as we really are trying to be good. We're not perfect and we don't have to be; all we need to do is repent and make the good faith effort to come closer to God. That's the true Catholic standpoint(of today) as I understand it.It might be hard to think that even some Nazi could get into heaven, but then again we should remember how the Milgram Experiment taught us how the human race is inherently really f****d up. |

I still don't get the 666 thing. It either means evil--the common belief which probably a mistranslation, or it is a reference to Nero a Christian-killing-bastard/thespian/emperor, since numbers were represented with letters e.g. roman numerals back in the the day.So, either way, the whole 666 thing either makes him look stupid(for not thoroughly checking his history books) or evil(because of the mistranslation or because Nero would've killed this guy's followers just like any other Christians). |
