Not all fords are crap. i had a ford escort that was a piece of junk but now i have a 2000 mustang and haven't had a single problem with it |

I am very pleased with my ford e-350 van, I carry a ton of tools and materials in it every day. Oh and I got the v-10 and when trashy little imports try to pass, they cant do it. LOL at whinners, and imports. Now my dodge on the other hand is a dung pile. BTW I have poured money into every vehicle I have owned, except my Ford van. So for some strange reason I no longer listen to cry babies. |

I had a Pinto, a Maverick, a Mustang, and a Taurus. Had more trouble with each of them than my Nissan.And the commercial sucks, too.

They simply are not worth putting your money into, they simply WILL NOT last without constant repair, and I think its hilarious that people that havent owned more than 1 for longer than 5 years thinks they can say that they know Fords are good, F#CKING hilarious, so just keep on buying them and keep on fixing them, but in the end, THE VERY NEAR END, they will always be

The anti-Ford people can go to Hell (will IAB censor that into "heck", I wonder?). Especially the guy who said "trust me, I know what I'm talking about". I love lines like that. Might as well say, "Dude, I have a secret knowledge that you couldn't possibly comprehend about this issue, so trust me, I'm right." Go to Hell.The Ford Taurus is one of the best sedans ever built. As for the Focus, they're the descendant of the Escort, and both are great cars. You see tons of Escorts on the road, some going back to the 80's, still running fine. Is Ford perfect? Of course not. But like I said before, perpetuating the stereotype that Fords suck is total bull$h!t. In fact, name me one pickup truck better than the F150. Can you? Didn't think so. 'Nuff said. |

Yeah, the survey was on behalf of Ford, but this same company does surveys for companies like Toyota and Honda. It's numbers also closely match JD Powers. The simple fact is that Fords have improved TREMENDOUSLY. As have GM's. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of crap Ford and GM's out there that were sold over the last decade. It's gonna take a while for them to get out from under that legacy - but the simple fact is they've come a long way. Honda is now the only company that stands head and shoulders above everyone in quality. |

I heard lots of issues with the Ford Fusion. Sales have also tanked on them. Also, my friend has a new Mustang Coupe. It's only the V6, but he says, he's been averaging only 17 mpg on it (yikes!). He doesn't drive like a loony either and does his fair share of highway driving too. Oh yeah, and I was once in a Ford Aerostar that was stranded on a busy intersection and it was on the only lane that can go straight. Not a pretty sight.Not saying Ford is the only one with issues (Mitsubishi and Volkswagen suck in reliability too), but their commercial about their quality being as good as Toyota is pure junk. The study that ran it was in Michigan and PAID FOR BY FORD. Pretty deceiving they didn't mention that now isn't it? |

The commercial was well done, I like it.Now to the f*cking douchebag who had to put down Ford (fancylad) and the other morons backing him up, let me say this. Ford in general is no better or worse than any other car company out there. All cars are what they are. All companies have some cars that run forever and some that crap out right off the line. I've owned a lot of different kinds of cars, including Fords, and never had more problems with one kind over another. If you take care of them, do maintenance when you should (tune up, oil change, etc) they will last a very long time. Some are prone to problems, that happens with everything. I knew someone who had a Mercedes that was in the shop every month, so they're no better. It really takes a closed minded, ignorant moron to make a statement like that. If you really believe that crap, you're just stupid. |

Fords don't suck, but the problem with them is that they don't last. I've seen lots of ancient volvos, BMWs or heck even toyotas still clunking around, but how many 10-year-old Fords do you see out there? Even if you're planning on trading in,Fords lose 60-70% of their value within 3 years so you might as well make them into musical instruments. |
