I can not believe how many of you don't know who Ian Curtis is, I've known who he is since i was 10. I love this song and it's a shame he's gone, but I suppose if he was still here, we wouldn't have one of the biggest dance songs ever. |

also, as a point of reference, joy division is alot better then the smith's, who most emo bands site as their influence, so you can't blame ian for the crappy music that exists today |

^yeah, no, but certain bands have been more influential than others in shaping modern music.
so not that current bands wouldn't exist, but that the sounds of today might be something quite different (and yes possibly better).

Joy Division is one of those bands that people try to force on you. Not unlike U2, Rush, and Radiohead. |

Can't believe most of you ignorant smeggers don't know who Ian Curtis was. Try typing Joy Division or New Order into your searchbars. It's what the Internerd was built for. Well - mostly for looking at gimpporn actually, but it serves this purpose as well.
Also still can't understand how at the Brits in 2005 Angels by Robbie Williams beat LWTUA as the best song of the last 25 years. And he accepted the award. Cheeky Git |
