wow if i didnt hate spiders so much i might try it but the look of it is disguisting amazing what well eat and enjoy untill we actually find out what it is ya know eat something then find out what it is ull be surprised how much ur willing to eat |

boredest1. no the biggest american delicacy is a supersized triple bigmac with a supersized order of fries and 3 apple pies and a small diet coke cuz you "really are trying to cut down on calories consumed in one day" and then you give the same order to your massively obese 500 pound six year old who needs liposuction when he turns 14 . im not trying to diss america im just sick of our biggest way of life and how the people who are effected by it go "why am i so fat?" and then the europeans who would rather kill americans rather than help with war efforts and then create a cult whose sole mission is to irradicate americans. congratulaions iab just got my rant of the day |

I eat Balut. It is a delicacy in the Philippines. However Filipinos are notorious for having high cholesterol because of their food. My Doctor (who is Filipino) says I should only eat three Balut a month. No more no less  . Oh yeah those Cambodians probably think we Americans are weird for eating bacteria (cheese). It's different all over. I know in Japan they eat frog hearts that are still beating. |

to deathxtra: Balut is SO GOOD.
Balut = Nearly-developed duck/chicken embryo, eaten from the eggshell.
I can't believe they ate it on fear factor. It tastes like boiled egg and chicken.
How can it be disgusting? Maybe it just looks disgusting because it resembles neither an egg nor a chicken. And it's veiny. But you'd eat egg and you'd eat a fully grown chicken. Why not the stage in-between? :] |

OMG lava_tomato i had that served when i was in china haha, except without the head. and deep fried scorpions, sea cucumber, silk worm lava and chicken feet... *shiver*i think that haggis or black pudding is worse. |

Balut makes me sick.
The very idea makes me want to hurl.

Yeah Balut is pretty disgusting.For those who don't know what it is, they incubate a chicken egg until it's ALMOST done, like, the boneshave formed and whatnot, and then they kill it, break off the top of the egg, and eat it. *vomit* |
