Friday, July 18, 2008 12:34:20 AM FROM SHELBY COUNTY: a Dodge Ram 2500, pulling a new travel trailer, hit the corner of the Texas State Bank causing the complete awning to come to the ground.According to Miller he was circling the bank to park on the other side when the corner of his travel trailer caught the corner of the bank awning. he heard was a rumble as it started falling against his driver's side door. Somehow he was able to unbuckle the seat beat and exit the other side of his truck as it was falling with his 10yr son. |

Sunday, July 13, 2008 3:52:33 PM Holy poo! Yeesh, know how tall your vehicle is! Though it's true that the structure shouldn't go down like that. It's not unreasonable to expect this to happen at some point, or the more likely possibility of a vehicle hitting a pillar. Maybe the truck's quite heavy though. Even so, I'll bet it would withstand neither an earthquake nor a tornado (one of which are common in much of the USA I believe) |
