Wednesday, July 09, 2008 11:07:34 AM I have $3000 left -- but only because I like to watch the little buggers die. |

Wednesday, July 09, 2008 9:00:42 AM Incidentally, I'm not sure about ragdoll physics but I think this is probably just a simple case of pin-jointed truss analysis with several point loads; if that's true, then the physics in the game is completely valid. There will be a few assumptions, as it will be a basic analysis at best, but it's the same technique as would be using when constructing steel truss structures (like bridges) in real life. (I only really joined for this, it's just the area I study in so thought you might be interested) |

Tuesday, July 08, 2008 4:11:26 PM ^ It would be a terrible shame if the original was free (i.e.magic pen ripped off crayon physics), but it seems you have to pay for that one. |

Tuesday, July 08, 2008 12:38:08 PM Boring :( passed the first level within seconds.I just remembered my phsyics lesson where we had to make structures out of straws to hold up heavy things. And the main thing you needed were triangles. |

Tuesday, July 08, 2008 10:32:35 AM I made a more realistic bridge, not using the middle attachment point in the middle or support that touches the ground. It is symmetrical.

Tuesday, July 08, 2008 8:37:05 AM lorodiam "Nothing to do with physics at all"...you're not wrong. it uses a basic rag doll technique. it uses a tiny amount of code to generate quite a realistic feeling. but I doubt it could be called physics. |

Tuesday, July 08, 2008 5:42:56 AM Absolutely poo poor game. Nothing to do with physics at all. You can put whatever cross beams and supports and everything that you choose, but sometimes the whole piece of poo just decides it doesn't want to hold a particular bit of structure up... even though when the wee creature hits another part of the structure (DONE IN THE EXACT SAME WAY) it does hold. Absolute nonsense. |

Tuesday, July 08, 2008 2:31:51 AM took me a bit, but once u get the basic pattern down u just reuse it on each lvl to beat it, so to easy.tho it was funny to watch them cross across the bridge as it fell apart behind them |
