I don't think the world wars had any religious issues in it, as far as I was taught in school :p

Of course we all know that this was God's will. God wanted those kids dead, oh and don't forget even if God didn't want them dead, it must be that he wanted them to live, but the parents didn't have enough faith.

Like the story with the boat and the man drowning..
The one like:
"Why didnt you save me when i prayed"
"I sent some boats"

Cept in this case.. the boat would have been a doctor..

religion is stupid

So if someone has a different worldview from you, their point of view is invalid?

Okay... I always thought God helped the sick by giving man intelligence to have great strides in medicine... just why.... thats like asking God to win the lottery without buying a ticket

I'll say there's nothing wrong with religion.....just the religious.

"More proof that religion is stupid."

Religion isn't stupid...people are stupid. Everybody seems to feel that all terrible things happen because of religion...at mostly on this sight it's narrowed to Christians.

"as in 2000 years of suffering, persecution, famine, wars, and hangings wasnt enuff."

All that was happening long before 2000 years...

There's nothing wrong with religion in itself. It's just that sometimes there are people who forget to be practical, that's all.

I wonder how long it would take for all the atheist scum to bash religion?

Ah.. that's terrible.

But surely, if you were gunna ask some almighty power for help - you'd only ask if it was a real emergency? Isnt it like a waste of their time to be listening to prayers about stuff that can be "healed" by real doctors..

I dunno, maybe im just not understanding it?
