They should set an example of this b*tch and show that people shouldn't pretend to be another gender and act as if they are in love with that person to abruptly end it in a humilaiating manner so in reaction that person ends up killing him/herself.

I said I wasn't defending the woman who made the girl kill herself.

Reading Comprehension. Learn it.

And I have been going on the internet since I was 11. I've never had my feelings hurt by some random stranger whom I've never met's comment. I guess I had too many real friends...or I wasn't stupid.

"Then the mother should have been a better mother and unplugged the internet.

I'm not defending the woman who did this; She obvious is a bored housewife who never matured past her High School years, but putting the blame solely on her is silly."

Actually, if I'm sane, from what i understand, you said that the mother should have unplugged the computer. Is that not offense, not defense for the mother? And yes, she should have, instead of continuing to let her daughter go on a social site and then not expecting the girl to get emotionally hurt in one way or another. It's middle school for god sakes, drama happens.

Gregoryn95, How exactly does the mother's appearance in that video make it seem like she was "completely oblivious" to her daughter's mental condition? I've read interviews with her mother and she was aware of it.

I'm referring to the clip. She's just emotionlessly speaking about how the woman deserves to get the maximum sentence. From that, I get the impression that she either doesn't care or she just doesn't understand what happened. Iapologize, I have not read other articles.

This is stupid... GOD! Girls like this don't need to live. This kinda ruins it for my generation, given that I am 16. You know, the mother is very sick and twisted and that's obvious. But to kill your self over a online relation is just plain stupid. And for what? Now she's in hell, being poked in the ass with a red hot poker, is that what she wanted?

Anywho, I think the mom should be tried still. People like her don't need to be on earth either, and when she's in jail she can get raped and beaten. Not because she "Conviced" this girl to die, but because she ruins myspace for us normal people. Stupid bitch.

"That isn't necessarily true. If she had lived a little longer, she may have gotten on some medication to help her be a more stable person, who wouldn't kill herself."

oh please, from the looks of the mother, she seemed completely oblivious to the mental condition of the child. I'm 13 myself and I find it absolutely stupid that MySpace is used by kids of my age for no reason. Anyways, Since she is under the age for making an account on said site, can't it be construed as parental negligence for just letting her log on to the site and then suddenly act shocked when they realized their daughter was mentally unstable?

That girl must be pathetic to kill herself because her virtual "boyfriend" broke up with her. =\

Didn't you say 'goodbye' earlier, implying you were leaving?

Perhaps you should get on that.

the "poor little girl's" parents are as guilty, 'cause they didn't pay attention to their child and didn't realized she need a doc, medication, etc.

bla bla bla, I agree with Iroj ;P

Agreeing to disagree is retarded, just say you had no point or at least tell me I'm a loser for so closely inspecting your words.

Yes, Iroj, that's not very hard to understand, but you talked specifically about having no "remorse" (not the right word unless you actually killed her) because she killed herself over something online, stressing ONLINE several times.
I don't know why I'm dragging this out, but people need to be held accountable for their words, especially when speaking of such grave matters.

Agent...sweetie, let me break this down for you so your mind can understand.

I feel no remorse for the girl because she killed herself over something so stupid. Marth said that if the girl hadn't killed herself over online bullying, it would have been from real life bullying, to which I agreed.

Which is why I said "Yes, if she hadn't killed herself on that day, it would have been another day."

Get it?

"My point is, I feel no remorse for the girl." ...because she killed herself over something online was actually what you were saying. But then...
"Exactly, Marth. Either way, she would have found a way to off herself. Maybe not that day, but it would have happened."

So you actually don't have a point and you're just spouting off random poo. Either that or you're a sociopath.

"I cannot say whatever I want to whomever I want. In many cases that leads to a restraining order."

Then you just shout it at them from 500 yards away with a megaphone. ;)

Hahha. That totally made me laugh too.

"Then what is your point? You stressed "online" quite a lot."

My point is, I feel no remorse for the girl.

Duh.

apk892, that has definitely happened at least once. Like the couple that robbed online predators; I'm sure all kinds of wacky things go on in the world of pedophilia.
